The terms, in plain words.

Lumo is made by Dextr Labs, the brand of Dextr Devs OPC Private Limited, Chennai, India. When these terms say “we”, they mean that company. These terms cover the Life Reading you buy on lumoracle.com. When you place an order, you agree to them. If anything here is unclear, write to us before you buy.

A personal reading of your birth chart, about 30 pages, made from the birth date, time and place you give us. It comes as a PDF in English, Tamil, or both, as you choose.

We email it to the address you give, usually within 24 hours of payment. Nothing is sent by post. Delivery and refunds says what happens if it is late.

Astrology shows tendencies and timing, not certainties. Your reading is guidance for reflection. The choices in your life stay yours.

It is not medical, legal, financial or mental health advice. For any of those, please talk to a qualified person. A reading never predicts death or illness, and never says a marriage is doomed. How we keep readings safe explains the checks every reading passes.

• Give birth details that are as accurate as you can. The birth time matters most: a few minutes can change parts of the reading.
• You are 18 or older. A reading for a child is ordered by a parent or guardian.
• If you order for someone else, you have their permission to share their birth details with us.
• Give an email address you can read, because that is where your reading goes.

Lumo's own engine works out your chart. The words are drafted with the help of an AI model, Anthropic's Claude, from the facts of your chart. Every line then passes our safety checks before the reading is emailed to you. A person reads every Tamil reading before it is sent. English readings are read by a person too, though not always before they are emailed.

The price is shown on the order page before you pay, and that is the full amount charged. Payments are handled by our payment partners, PhonePe and PayU. Your card, UPI or bank details go to them, never to us.

We start making your reading only after the payment partner confirms the payment. If a payment fails but money leaves your account, it is returned to you (see refunds).

Your reading is yours for personal use. Share it with your family as you like. Please don't resell it or publish it as your own work. The design, the text and the engine behind it belong to Dextr Devs OPC Private Limited.

You can cancel for a full refund until your reading is emailed, and we put mistakes right after that. The details are on Delivery and refunds.

We take care to make every reading correctly. If something goes wrong on our side, we fix it or refund you. Beyond that, and as far as the law allows, our total responsibility for an order is the amount you paid for it.

Nothing in these terms takes away the rights you have under Indian consumer law.

We may update these terms. The date at the top says when they last changed. The terms on the day you placed your order are the ones that apply to that order.

Please write to us first. Most things are sorted out in a reply or two. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute is heard by the courts of Chennai.
